Serge is the founder of Birdwatching Central America and the director of the Costa Rica Birding Route. Master in Business Administration and graduated in ecotourism Serge is also a professor of tourism and currently one of the eBird editors for Costa Rica.

Abelardo Benavides

Guide
Abelardo “Lalo” is our always smiling guide. He is a certified guide by the National Biodiversity Institute and the Tourist Board. He started his career at Selva Verde Lodge and La Selva Field Station in Sarapiqui. His birding skills combined with his charming personality are the best combination on tour.

DIEGO RAMIREZ

Operations
Diego is a very enthusiastic birder, is graduated from the University of Costa Rica with a degree in ecotourism, also is the founder of the Aves y Cultura (Birds & Culture) NGO. He is in charge of logistics and operations with his charming personality.

Guide
Daniel Aldana is our guide and partner coordinator for the Guatemala and Belize tours. He is currently a member of the Guatemala Birdwatching Board and one of the top guides and tour leaders in Northern Central America.
